As you know, I made a comparison to Grace Potter who in a fun fact played a concert with the Nocturnals minutes from my place last night. I did not attend.

People who are the worst, definitively ranked.

1. People who leave Never Say Never Again off lists of James Bond movies

You're welcome.

It was not an Eon production.

Good list, lofty list, my only quibbles:

Goldeneye is too low, that movie is great

Man with the Golden Gun is a bit too high, Christopher Lee is great (Ian Fleming's cousin and Fleming's first choice to play Bond /end fun facts), but meh-ish

Casino Royale is better than any Roger Moore movies

Quantum of Solace isn't that bad, especially since it looks like they're finally paying off that the organization involved is SPECTRE

Nothing can salvage Die Another Day... Pierce deserved to go out better than that

Her trying to turn that into her own spin off movies with Jinx like anyone would give a fuck clouds my memory of her in that movie

that and her general insanity

Finally watched Spectre. It was a great example of a movie that solidly earns a "meh" rating. Not close to meh-plus. Not close to meh-minus. Straight-forward mehitude.

Brosnan's first was great, probably a top fiver for me, but each of his got progressively less interesting. The last one was just abysmal: Brosnan seemed to go through the motions, and the plot was as hokey as something from the Roger Moore films. Only difference, it wasn't meant to be campy like the Moore movies.

Daniel Craig is off to a good start with Casino Royale. I like the two Connery films mentioned above, but I'm also partial to Goldfinger. I mean, where else can you get a character named Pussy Galore? I always liked the 70s Roger Moore Bond films as well. If I had to rank the Bonds:

1. Connery
2. Moore
3. Brosnan
4. Craig (only here because of small sample size)
5. Lazenby
6. Dalton

With Roger Moore's death it's time to revisit the rankings. I'd move Craig above Moore at this point--he's been really good in the films he's done. Plus they're generally better films than what Brosnan did over his time as Bond.

Watched the most recent one--SPECTRE--this past weekend. Entertaining flick.
