Big fan of that tune but mostly because it's the intro to Jackie Brown

Ballz: So, I fucking got a BJ for $250 total, and wore a rubber. It sucked, I couldnt even feel it, so i jeckyled onto her tits. She was cute. Not even that far out of my league, it was a waste of $250

I'm certain I have never heard that song in my life. Or heard of the band for that matter. #threadintegrity

Super uplifting video, though. Really made my day. Thanks for sharing!

Oral history of The National's Boxer. Alligator is a desert island CD. Boxer I love, but haven't listened to in years.

Approximately nobody is going to care or read this, but it's interesting and holy shit do they name-check seemingly every early 2000s indie act. Interpol, Sufjan Stevens, St. Vincent before she became St. Vincent, Kala, French Kicks, Spoon...good stuff.

In a stunning upset, this post has no #threadintegrity because I HAVE heard of The National. By heard of I mean I heard a commercial on satellite radio yesterday announcing that "indie rock band The National is"... doing... something. An album or a tour or something that I don't care about, and that SXM is doing some kind of tribute thing on one of their channels that I will definitely never listen to.

Cool story, JohnnyDamon.

Here Wolf. I discovered this band today (well Spotify told me to listen to it and like a lemming I did).

LSD and the Search for God:

Viva la space rock!

Digging the first track. Kinda sounds like a slowed down Jesus and Mary Chain.

I listened to both of those songs.

Can you guys help me out and describe what sort of situation or setting you find yourself in that would make these songs, I don't know, enjoyable to listen to? These don't seem like drunk listening, although maybe too much red wine?

Do you take a pill? Quil up?

I mostly work to this sort of music. The drone drowns everything out and allows me to focus.
