I have a 2-disc greatest hits of theirs, 40 songs in all (It's called "Time Tough: The Anthology"). I enjoy it. Those songs are pretty representative of their sound. Those are some of my favourites, but I also enjoy others like Monkey Man, Broadway Jungle, Pomps and Pride, Beautiful Woman

I gave a greatest hits a listen, some good stuff on there. Pomps and Pride was an especially strong cut. I didn't realize they did the original Monkey Man. I have a version from either the Specials or English Beat.

Listening to Radiodread right now by the Easy All Stars. Its a well done dub version of OK Computer. A lot of the heavy fuzzed out tracks from OK Computer (like Climbing Up The Walls) translate great to dub. These are the same guys that did Dub Side of the Moon (a cover of the Floyd album).

Its Friday morning, time for a little reggae. In light of the difficult times we are living in, I present to you Mr Dennis Brown and his timeless track Things In Life.

As a bonus, we'll toss in him doing Queen Majesty

Finally we'll add a little Sister Nancy - Bam Bam. You might recognize this beat.

Finally taking bacon's advice from earlier and checked out Jimmy Cliff. To me, he seems like a reggae Curtis Mayfield and that is never a bad thing.

Huh? How had Bacon never come across Jimmy Cliff or did and chose to ignore him? For shame son.

If any of you haven't seen it, rent the Harder They Come. That's a top 10 soundtrack right there. Plus I am pretty sure that Draw Your Brakes (even if miscredited) has been featured in this very thread. If not:

i would say my top songs right now for newer reggae/ska would be-

Rebelution-Otherside
Collie Buddz-Blind to you
Tribal Seeds-Dark Angel
Slightly Stoopid-Collie Man
Rebelution-Courage to Grow
Rebelution-Bright Side of Life
Slightly Stoopid-2am
Slightly Stoopid-This Joint

...i like some bob here and there, but i definetly like a mix. Rebelution Radio on pandora has been killin it for me

Eventually everything ends up on Youtube...I've been waiting for a version of Apprentice Dentist to get on there for years. I remember it having horns and not being so dubbed out, but anyway.

Sailing On has been stuck in my head lately. I've become a big Toots fan.
