This popped up on my iPhone and started to play randomly after headphones were removed. I had played this for my brother in law over thanksgiving - random thanksgiving convo - the lead singer of this band goes by BROTHER LOVE and recently trademarked the name because P Diddy came out claiming he would only answer to Brother Love. It has been in a paper or two. #RealBroLo

BostonSucksMyBalls - Fri Aug 12, 2016 11:42 am: my disdain for 66 stems from posters saying how great a poster he was. I never saw it. He has never made an interesting post or comment, imo.

Pretty sure this is Rumsfelded somewhere in this thread, but great singing by Pickett and some tasty playing by Duane Allman.

Balls: I know a guy who came home after high school one day to over hear his mom and dad having a 3some with another lady. He actually went to beat off during it in his room.
mister bacon: Wow no wonder PJ is so fucked up.

I definitely prefer this over the original. Wilson and Duane at the top of their games.

Do we have an Oasis thread? I don't see one, so I'll post my thoughts here. I've been listening to both Liam and Noel's new albums a lot. I think they are both really good. Upon first listen I thought I liked Liam's better, but the more I listened to Noel's the more I got into it and I think Noel's will hold up better over time.

Liam took a big step creatively because he prove he could do it all (almost) alone. He had a team of people that helped him with the song writing, but he basically put out a watered down version of an Oasis album. I mean that as a (somewhat backhanded) compliment because Noel is the one who wrote all the Oasis classics. Next step will be to really do it alone next time. Beside Wall of Glass and For What It's Worth, both of which I posted elsewhere on the board, I'm liking this track which is a blatant BLATANT rip-off of the Beatles, but that's what the Gallagher boys do best.

Noel went out on a limb with his new album by totally reinventing himself, pushing his boundaries and basically taking a big risk career wise, yet it looks like he'll be selling more records eventually than his last "conventional" record. I didn't like the first single released, Holy Mountain, and still don't really. Then I heard the opening track, Fort Knox, which is a four and a half minute (mostly) instrumental that was inspired by listening to Kanye. Get the fuck otta here with that Noel. After putting it aside for a couple weeks I went back to it and listened to the rest of it. Some of it is still a little too "out there" and over produced for my taste, but overall I think it has a lot of good songs. My two favorites are "If Love is the Law" and the haunting/powerful "The Man Who Built the Moon"

Both good albums, but I think Liam is the one with the problem as he has to come up with something different with his second album.

I agree with this entire post.

Liam is the sizzle, but Noel is the steak.
