At least Bon Jovi has songs that I recognize. Springsteen didn't even sing Born in the USA.

You've never heard Glory Days or Born to Run? We're going to have to revoke your white card for that one.

Born in the USA would have been funny to play, b\c its such a subversive song, but most people think its some patriotic anthem.

My personal favorite idea was singing Dancing in the Dark, and pulling Courtney Cox out of the crowd up onto the stage.

I've probably heard them, but definitely not to the point where I know the name of the song. I just recently found out that Journey was who sang "Don't Stop Believin".

the opportunity cost of knowing how to preheat an oven is pretty puny compared to anything else

4 songs, 10th Ave Freezeout (Not one of his huge hits, but an underrated one, I liked the choice), then Born To Run ,then the new album song, then Glory Days.

I was hoping for this too, but alas it wasn't meant to be.

When I started working from home in 2010, I quickly grew tired of my iTunes library. At that point, I downloaded a bunch of music outside of my comfort zone. I started with the basics, and found a torrent of the 100 Greatest Guitar solos from Guitar World. Obviously, I am still 100% a hip-hop fan but I found an appreciate for songs unknown to me before-- Little Wing, And Your Bird Can Sing, Texas Flood, and Pantera's Walk. Granted, this is "windows up" music but I have also found that some of these songs are awesome.

Just Hendrix. I saw the SRV version on Youtube and thought it was alright. If I had to ever call one song haunting and powerful, it would be Little Wing.
