Recently discovered "It's Only Rock and Roll"... what a fucking great album! It's got a nice sleazy 70's vibe, especially on the midtempo stuff like "Time Waits for No One" and "Fingerprint File". Probably my 2nd fave of theirs now behind "Let It Bleed".

MTM's post in the (wrong) Rapscurity thread reminded me of this find:

Powerful, haunting, bad-ass.

Wed Jun 03, 2015 10:13 am MisterTambourineMan angus - im seeing the stones tonight. their five worst songs, go.
Wed Jun 03, 2015 10:14 am Colonel Angus mtm, i will do that assignment if you want me to, but i am what you would call a casual stones fan. didn't really get into them until about 5 years ago and only own hot rocks, exile, let it bleed, and sticky fingers. so i have certainly not heard what would be their 5 worst songs.
Wed Jun 03, 2015 10:15 am MisterTambourineMan use whatever you know, ang

I left out that I also own Beggars Banquet and Get Yer Ya-Yas Out. Doesn't really change my degree of difficulty, but here goes:

5 "worst" I have heard, in no particular order:
1. Soul Survivor - nothing really wrong with it, it just doesn't do anything for me and I usually don't even make it that far on Exile.
2. Turd on the Run - the song isn't so bad, I guess - I just can't get past using the word "Turd" in the title
3. Dear Doctor - seems like filler. British people affecting Southern accents is always weird to me.
4. Shake Your Hips - Probably sounded good in 1972, but whenever I hear it all I can think of is John Lee Hooker suing ZZ Top
5. Stop Breaking Down - see Soul Survivor, above - Exile seemed to contain a bit of filler.
