I went to a show recently. Chris Stapleton. It was just OK. I don't know what I didn't like specifically. It just felt like sort of a slow transition between songs and stuff. And while I like his music, he doesn't really have a lot of stuff that's gonna fire up the crowd or anything. Just didn't get a great crowd vibe, despite enjoying the musical songs. I will continue to listen to his albums, but I'm not sure how I feel about seeing him live again.

His opener was something called an Anderson East. I never heard of him before, but there were a couple songs I kinda dug. I don't remember what they were called. Really helpful review. For no apparent reason, he looked like someone IMS would like. The most notable thing about him is that I hear he's dating Miranda Lambert. Sadly, I'm unable to confirm this rumor because it has not yet been reported in Miranda's official thread.

I reported that in March. In that thread. Try to keep up.
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

When I was young, one of the things that I would do at shows was to look around on the floor to see whether there are three or four folks who have passed out already. Last night I saw John Mellencamp. It was a great show, but when I looked around the floor what I saw was four or five people arriving at their seats on scooters. I have never felt older.

Beck tonight. If that crazy Scientologist doesn't play a little of Odelay or Midnite Vultures I'm going to continue to drink anyway.

ha, just saw Mellencamp last night. The crowd was...something.

For an almost 66-year old probably pack a day smoker, the dude can still rock.

Went to J. Cole when he was in DC. My friend got free tickets in his company's suite and we got high as shit before going in. Ended up facing about 8 beers and a bottle of wine before I left. Ended up spending the night in my car because I was too lazy to walk from my parking space to my home.

Also put in for tickets for the concert below. It's on an NFL Sunday and the Redskins play Oakland at prime-time...but this lineup is too good to pass up for free. There's a $7.50 processing fee per ticket, so at most, it's $15 bucks to see three legit A-list acts (Timberlake, The Roots and Neptunes) and two white people acts (Brittany Howard and DMB) that I've heard put on fantastic live sets.

False. I want to get my hands on those moonbat liberals whose white guilt is manifested in taking BBC doggystyle on the hood of their Prius.
