I guess, good luck to all parties involved.

I think they scheduled this tour so that classic rock stations had some tickets to giveaway.

When I was in Houston, the classic rock station was giving away Kid Rock tickets. One of the DJs made a point to mention that they don't even play his music. I found that amusing.

I agree. I would pay to see Tesla headline a show, but I'm not paying to see them open for Styx and Joan Jett.

Styx is terrible, but back in the day they had a great VH1 Behind the Music. Unfortunately, I couldn't find video.

Anyhow, they're at the post-Mr. Roboto album/tour point in their career. The lead singer has the grand idea of making a sequel rock opera type album to cash in on the Roboto success and they cut to the guitarist, who has a dead look in his eyes and says, just before dropping his head, "I can't think up any more songs to write about robots." Got a big laugh from me.
Balls: I know a guy who came home after high school one day to over hear his mom and dad having a 3some with another lady. He actually went to beat off during it in his room.

There was an "After the Music" special about Styx and I believe that it was revealed that Dennis DeYoung developed an allergy to lights.

For real.

Any truth to the rumor that James Young used to throw light bulbs at him?
