My grandparents had cable at the beach house and I would watch kids in the hall on comedy central instead of going to the beach. Used to piss my dad off so bad

Every once in awhile the Rhode Island affiliates would have a game that the Boston ones didn't. It was glorious.

If mj ever moves into a houseboat I found the perfect gift we can chip in and get him.

Last June I replaced my front steps and a little walkway thing from the driveway. Both are concrete. The stairs look fine, but the walkway is now crumbling. Is this an error by the guy I hired to do it? Will he fix it? I feel like it was either bad concrete or a bad combo of concrete/water.

Definitely sounds like this should be on him. I have no experience in this area, but I'm pretty confident it shouldn't be crumbling after 8 months. I'd try to get him to fix it.

I have hinted at it multiple times. He's response is that we can talk about what to do later....meaning I will have to do it.

Sounds like he mixed/got a bad batch of concrete or he might not have done a good job of compacting the soil under the concrete.

It's definitely on him, but knowing contractors they're not big on fixing work eight months later.

Of course it may have been exacerbated by visits from your MIL.

And all of this y'all are describing is definitely the same as me not caring if i see russell westbrooks chin pubes more clearly on my 40 in screen. #baller

I thought clearly seeing pubes on chins would be a major selling point to you.

that is old. technology takes awhile to make it to buffalo.

This is similar to the cable box I had growing up:

We had one of these. Disney was 26, ESPN was 3, HBO was 2, and A&E was 27. I think we got a remote for our cable box in like 1990.
Going to my 2nd cousins’ house in Maryland was trip. They had a ton more money than us but no cable, and my dad and uncle ended up going on the actual roof to fix the antenna. This was in 1990. They also had Betamax and I had no idea what the hell that was.

we had one of these. dad bribed the guy who installed it to give us hbo and showtime off the cable lines in the backyard!
