2 games vs PJ ln.

Game 1, Carrots, he’s Road Spurs, I’m HOME Lakers. I got out big. I recall being up 30-15. I figure my unemployment was helping me. But he chipped away to steal victory. I was so peeved. PJ emerged victorious 76-68 in OT. I sent it to OT on a controversial 2 ( I think it was a 3) by that stiff Brandon Ingram. Ho Aldridge with 22 and 8, Pau with 13 and 12. All time Spur Danny Green with 0. Lonzo had 14 7 and 11 for me. 5-20 shooting. I was too Ball-reliant, in retrospect. He can’t finish at the rim. Caldwell Pope had 18.

Game 2, Classics. He’s Road 03 Mavs, I’m HOME 08 Celtics. Pretty even matchup imo. PJ won 76-70. I just didn’t get it done. Dirk w 22/10, Nash w 21. PP had 20, KG 17, Benedict Allen with 16.

PJ 2-0.
Overall PJ 19-18
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

Spurs second unit is pretty good in that game. Kawhi is injured so on the court in the fourth I went with Mills, Manu, Gay, Pau and Aldridge. Balls should have brought Randle in but did not
Second game Leon Powe got the Rodman treatment. It’s all coaching boys

Sneaky good team: 65 Lakers.

Was Elgin Baylor really good? He plays not unlike Lebron in this game. Ferocious dunks, shoots. Who knew?

Did you just remember that story from 2008 off the top of your head? That's mj-esque, IMO.

I remembered he wrote about Baylor some in his book about being underappreciated. The rest was in Google's hands.

2 games vs PJ ln.

Game 1: Carrots. He’s Road Mavs, I’m HOME blazers. He won 74-70. I played n*gger ball, IMO. Dirk had 25, Barnes had 16. Dame and CJ each had 26. The rest of my starters combined for 7.

Game 2: Classics. He’s HOME 04 Suns, I’m Road 13 Heat. Thank god. That Heat team is nasty. I won 79-71. Lebron had 31, Wade with 29. Bosh had 7 and 19 boards. Nash had 12 and 10, Amare with 14 and 13.

1-1
Overall PJ 20-19

Fuck I mistyped. Wade had 19.

He seems less useless in this game vs last year.

Random Thoughts Horizon Zero Dawn edition:

1. Really enjoying this game. It has a good balance of tasks vs. main story plus I feel like they mix up the terrain and combatants very well.

2. It wouldn't have killed them to design Aloy so that she can track Glinthawks in the sky at the same speed at which they fly. Jesus I hate those things when they are moving around and you can't keep up with them to shoot them. Then they start raining ice down on you. Assholes. Nothing makes me happier than pounding them to bits once I get them on the ground.

3. Way too many resources that I've never used. Still not sure what fire kiln, freeze rhime, and whatever the wax one do.

4. WOULD IT KILL YOU TO PUT SOME FISH IN THE RIVERS??? I need to upgrade some stupid pouch or the other and the fishing here blows.

5. If I've short one turkey while running down the road, I've shot 8000. Same for boars and foxes. Feel like they make good target practice.

6. Pretty sure I've reached the point in the main story where you go below ground and cannot do anymore side quests. I'm not ready for that.

7. For all the talk about cauldrons and upgrading my override skills, I'm not in much of a rush to clear the 3 I haven't done yet.

8. This is completely irrational, but I feel like I am immortal when diving. There's been times where I've dove my way out of an absolute shitstorm for 300 yards/feet/whatever the unit of measurement it.

Anyway I think I like this better than the Bethesda games, or more likely I just needed a break from Bethesda. Good talk.
