Dude. This is the internet. It exists solely to make fun of people for their choices that have zero impact on you.

Any time I see a guy drinking wine in a "regular bar" I think it's weird. By regular bar I mean a place where you're obviously just going to drink. Those places are for beer and liquor. Frankly, I don't understand why they even have wine on the menu. But I don't see a problem with drinking wine in a restaurant bar. I usually assume those people are just waiting for a table or something, and a glass of wine before dinner seems much more normal/hetero than just pounding glasses of pinot at Sully's Pub.

Unless it is a really good place, wine by the glass offerings normally stink, so I normally would not order a glass of wine at a bar for that reason.

Last year at a conference a few of us went to a dive bar and one of the women asked about their wine selection. The bartender said, "we have one bottle of white wine and you don't want to drink it." She ordered a club soda.

She's a thick Greek girl in her early 30's, probably B's. Good looking enough, likes to drink and be the center of attention. Ironically, she's kind of handsy, but it didn't lead to any hand holding. But then, I'm not a slut like Wolf.

I wasn't asked, but I have a friend that does it, and at times I will look at it on a close call or ask the dealer. I say NBD.

I have one of those. Helped me with a couple good runs at the BJ table in Vegas. I am not FTT or IMS, however.

I'm always okay with people trying to be smarter with their decisions.

Much better than dummies who make wrong moves but then try to justify them.

It's math people, the percentages have been worked out.

TY, yeah i used to look at a card like that on close calls, but maybe annoying if someone has it and is constantly checking it all the time.

Yeah, but to JT's point I'd rather someone use knowledge to make a decision to benefit the table than throw the whole thing off with one bad move.

This cuts to the heart of the matter. I have zero problem with it in general, but I've seen situations such as one with a bachelorette party where the bride-to-be had the card and every card dealt then led to a consultation with everyone else behind her. Slowed the table down a ton. I've seen other pit bosses get testy over consultations with people not playing, but they were tolerant of it in this case. Pissed me off.

Short answer: if you keep the play moving then nbd.

The girl I didn't bang.

I was either 19 or 20 at some local party that had a bunch of people that went to my high school. There was some kid there that was a few grades below me and it came out (word play!) that he was gay. My friend was talking to this art house skank and she started talking to me a little more than him and said something about liking my shirt. So in an effort to throw me under the bus and get the focus back on him he compared me to the gay kid. That's when she said I wasn't pretty enough to be gay.

Of course, there are plenty of ugly gay people, but in 1990 the stereotype was that all gay guys looked more like Ricky Martin and less like Bob Mould.

ImageImage

Anyhow, I had a girlfriend that I was stupid in love with, so I wasn't trolling for girls. My friend didn't end up banging her either.

The girl I did bang.

I was 24 and living in Sarasota. I came up one Saturday to go to Ybor with my boys. When the four of us got out there we ran into a girl named Sherrie that we went to high school with. She's with three friends. Sherrie was probably a 7; surfbordt, but very pretty. Her three friends were probably a 2 (big, big girl and not even a cute face or big cans to offset the gunt); a 6 (short, cute blonde girl, small boobs and a huge ass; like a Nova-could-only-like sized ass); and a 10 (some quiet smokeshow; blonde with an amazing body).

We all end up at some club/bar on 7th Avenue. Early on I made an assessment. Sherrie had a boyfriend that she lived with, who I had met before, so I wasn't going to try and be that guy. The smokeshow was definitely too much work, and I wasn't interested in the other two. Two of the guys talked to Sherrie and made half-hearted attempts at chatting up the smokeshow.

It was just before football season and I was a co-owner with the other friend of a fantasy football team. Our draft was next week, so we mostly talked to each other about FF shit and pretty much ignored all of the girls. I guess during this time the 6 girl got it in her head that we were a couple. He's a good looking dude who is 6'4", I'm an okay looking dude who's 5'9", and we were leaning in talking to each other (it was a loud place) all night, so I could see her misconception.

Anyway, the three girls go to dance or go to the bathroom or something and Sherrie comes over and tells us what 6 thought. We laughed it off, but both of us were kind of offended like young dudes get when their sexuality is questioned. After several more drinks my friend gets his courage up and starts talking to the 10. After several more drinks I think I'm going to try and fuck the 6 and show her how wrong she was. So my friend gets the 10 out to the dance floor and me and 6 go to get more drinks. After we get to the bar and get our drinks she walks me out to the patio and we start the traditional drunken makeout. After a few minutes of that she asks if I want to go. I say sure, but 2 is her roommate and drove, so she has to go get her.

Me, 6 and 2 leave and drive to their apartment. It's some loft near downtown, way back before that was a thing. Anyway it's one big room with just a few dividers separating their sleeping areas, the living "room" and the kitchen. 6 goes to freshen up and there's a few uncomfortable minutes with me, 2 and my boner standing near their couch. 6 comes out, 2 goes to the bathroom and 6 turns out the lights and we start banging. Her roommate comes out of the bathroom and makes a big production of going to bed, like that's going to get me to stop. I started on top, then we traded places and I spanked her big ass a few times and we finished. After we clean up I heard 2 get out of bed and go get a glass of water. I'm guessing that's not the first time the poor girl had to lay in her bed alone and hear her roommate fuck some guy.

Morning comes and 2 walks by and says she's going to take a shower. I take that as my cue to bang again. I get on top and planned to stay on top so I can finish up quicker, but I can't seem to get it done, I keep having her change positions but I'm not getting any closer. About then the 2 comes out of the bathroom and stomps across the floor. I'm a little distracted, but get some leverage and manage to finish like a champ. Maybe I just needed an audience.

After that we shower together. Get dressed and they drop me off at my friend's house and they head to the record store to pick up Grateful Dead tickets. When I went inside my friend told me that he made out with the smokeshow, but didn't get any farther. The 6 gave me her number and I never called her. She probably hated me for a while, but at least she knew first hand that I wasn't gay.

Nicely spun tale. Had me guessing throughout. As a goose fan I kept thinking you were going to bang the 10.

Jike there is a lesson on there for you to absorb.
