Yeah, but this lady didn't take offense to it meaning a gay sexual act. She took offense to it because it made the South look bad or something. People are retarted.

the opportunity cost of knowing how to preheat an oven is pretty puny compared to anything else

In all of my life, I have never heard of anyone from the South being offended by the phrase "going south" or any derivative thereof. What a strange thing to be taught in yankee sensitivity training classes.

I think age of consent laws are still number one on the list.

I liked it when she asked the cop to hold her gun.

Sorry, jike, but the south is insane with its concealed carry laws. Hell, Florida passed and other States are following suit in making it so employers cant prohibit employees from bringing their guns to work.

That's not the argument. I know all about that. I'm saying that I know several Southerners who know it's not OK to carry them everywhere.

Did you really think that i was suggesting that every single Southerner carries a concealed weapon everywhere he goes? Seriously?

No...of course not. It's just I think the percentages of those that would are even smaller than a lot of folks would think.

Hey assholes, Southerners aren't the only ones trying to check their firearms in NYC.

Jerome has a valid concealed carry permit in Indiana and visited New York believing that it was legal to bring his firearm. He was traveling with $15,000 worth of jewelry that he planned to sell.

The online gun-law information Jerome read was inaccurate, however, and his late September arrest initiated what may become a protracted criminal saga. He hasn’t yet been indicted by a grand jury, but there may be little legal wiggle-room if he is.

Holy shit, are you implying that all non-Southerners are gun-toting nutjobs?
