Feels like you guys are asking me to bring back my motivational posts. Message heard loud and clear, boys.

If you could start me off with one reminding me how bad ass people perceive me, that would be swell.

Pretty much daily with either books (I'm reading Jocko Willink right now) or various pods.

Agreed. Motivational speakers seem like the worst people on the planet. No offense, Theny.

I actually agree with you guys about those dudes being exhausting to be around, I just need that kick.

I saw Gary Vaynerchuk speak at one of those self congratulatory internet shows, either TechCrunch Disrupt or TNW. He was a very good speaker. Candid and direct in a sea of shitheads (myself included). I really enjoyed his bit but could see it getting old after you've heard him once or twice.

Probably the second best speaker I saw next to the guy from Giphy.

The absolute worst was Dave Mr #MeToo McClure (https://medium.com/@davemcclure/im-a-cr ... c13e996ea0) who flew in from Israel just to give a pointless summary of his career to date.

Sorry I think I'm off the rails here.

We had a guy scheduled to come in today for an interview. He was scheduled to start at 9:00. He arrives at reception at 8:25. Seriously dude, 35 minutes early doesn't make you look eager it make you looks like an ass. Get to the parking garage and sit in your car for 30 minutes watching porn on your phone for all I care, or go have a smoke, whatever. But don't show up THAT early for an interview. He was ok. He met with 5 people and the thoughts on him were pretty mixed.

xp: people...worst, pets, women.
