This gal at work (early 20s, flip, small Bs): I hate the Simpsons because of that evil clown.
Me: What evil clown? The bed?
Gal: The one that was under the car.
Me: Ha! The murdering doll that was set to evil and they just had to flip the switch???
Gal: Yeah, it was scary. I hate scary clowns.
Me: How the fuck was that scary, it was hilarious.
Gal: Don't judge me.

So Treehouse of Horror actually does horror some people. Some stupid, stupid people.

Really only one response I can come up with to that whole conversation...

too bad you didn't say "Sideshow Bob?" when she said the one that was under the car. Because then it could have drawn out longer. Also...they did a clown under the car twice! simpsons simpson'd themselves.

That might have reminded her of her fear of rakes, though.

MTM's not a rake. A roue, perhaps. A cad, most definitely. But not a rake.

I was legit thinking of sideshow bob when I first read this. But fuck the simpsons, anyway.

That is a go-to of mine as well, can't argue. And now let's just all post Simpsons lines.

Well done. I think other than #3, all could be argued to beat "Make Way for Willie"
