Prime Bbcode Spoiler Show Prime Bbcode Spoiler:
When the hell did this show become liberal wish-fullfilment fantasy jerkoff nonsense? How awesome would it be if Hillary Clinton had walked out on her sham marriage? Or if Obama had exercised questionable executive privilege to get a jobs program going? Or how about someone who STOOD UP to Putin, or told the Israelis to get line or else? When did Frank Underwood, the cold, calculating asshole concerned only with his own power become a guy who could get deep-hearted epiphanies from visiting the Roosevelt memorial? Wouldn't it be cool if some idealized Elizabeth Warren surrogate had actual charisma?]

Also, I've come to the conclusion that Remy is kind of a shitty actor.

I am pretty sure the jobs program (we'll just hire everyone) was straight out of the movie Dave.

I could have used 10 more hours of Doug.

My completely biased, don't know why I keep watching a show I don't like, power rankings:

1. Doug.
1a. Petrov. We should pair Doug and Petrov together and have them outskeeve Scientology.
2. The one that was running against Frank. The good one, not the conflicted kiss ass.
3. The stewards. Was the same black guy serving tea on Air Force One and dealing with the Underwoods ducking each other via phone messages? If so, then it was great.
4. The reporter. The good one who was a hooker on Deadwood and Sons of Anarchy and probably 5 other shows.
5. The guys that drove the black SUVs. There was some nice pull up for meet moves that those guys rocked. Its been a dark time for that sort of stuff since McNulty last razzed his FBI guy about pulling up driver's side to driver's side.
6. Not Remy, not Meachum, not whatever the communications director was named....fuck, we'll put Frank here.
7. The weasely hacker dude that Doug had working for him.
8. The PT chick Doug was doing injury rehab with.
9. The ribs guy, I guess.
10. Claire? Sure. Claire.
11. Cassie? Why not.
12. The dumb VP, that senator Aceveda from the Shield was playing, and the Dem guy who was the minority leader. Those 3.
13. The conflicted kiss ass.
14. The Tibetan monks.
15. Was there a dog on this season that I could slot in here?
16. Doug's overly huggy SIL.
99. The conflicted kiss ass' hubby. He had a good run as the dumb brother on that polygamy show on HBO. Not GoT, but the one with Bill Pullman or Paxton.

Not Ranked: Tom Yates. I'd call him a great personification of the meh this show is.

Huh. There's an FDR memorial? Who knew? Looks like it was built during my alcoholic years.

Finished. Fuck. I thought this show was going to end with three seasons like the original show on the Beeb. Weak. When the hell does the House of Cards collapse?

What is Frank's end game. Dropping a nuke on the Putin wannabe while in an Oval Office orgy with Meechem as Doug beats off furiously in the corner and Freddie just shakes his head.

Finished this tonight. Meh. Felt ripped off, a dozen hours just to set up the next season? Come on, fucking guy.

Prime Bbcode Spoiler Show Prime Bbcode Spoiler:
Favourite scene? Dashing Doug running down "Cassie" in his van. Reminded me of the truck running over that kiddie's bed in Enter Sandman:

Started watching the UK version of House Of Cards last night.

Only a few episodes in but I think I find it easier to follow because it moves quicker & also because Britain uses the Westminster system of government, which I understand far easier that the form of government YOU PEOPLE use.
