American classic.

Seriously doe, she works in the role. Starts out looking pretty rough, doesn't look a lot better by the end. Pretty funny though.

OK. Watched the first episode. Probably shouldn't have done so while eating.

Good to see The Waitress getting some work.

There are a few episodes with gore on that level. Good stuff.

The Waitress has some good material. The daughter is funny too.

Was Chex the second episode and recognize the wife's voice of the married couple looking to buy the house.

Look up the credits, and it's Nia, from Bill Burr fame.

I ignored IMS's warning about not watching while eating and peeped the first episode while having lunch today. Enjoyed. Will continue watching.

I don't think I'm going to continue on with Santa Clarita Diet. I watched two episodes and haven't watched any in the last week and haven't felt the urge to watch any more. It would probably been a lot better if Zombie Drew Barrymore didn't speak, like real zombies.

Watched half an episode of Lady Dynamite. Horrible.

I feel like Drew Barrymore is actually perfect for that role. I agree she's not a very good actress, but I think she works in the sense that she's just goofy and absurd. I dunno, I watched the whole season and wasn't bothered by the fact that she sucks.

Thinking about this as a possibility after my OJ run. Does it earn a rec from the board?

More people I know have found it funny than not, but there's a sizeable minority who didn't like it. Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 70% so I guess that's about the epitome of a soft rec.

"soft rec" is what I call my bedroom moves
