Just watched the first episode. Kind of interesting, but drags a little bit. A good titty scene too.

But by the end of the episode you are like: WUT?

Is this the OC prequel I've been hearing about?

There was a good show in there. Too bad they only 80% found it.

IDK, people insist it gets good, but for now it seems like an Adult Swim show from 2007 made by people who actually give a shit about the end result.
lotta cognitive dissonance.

oh, i understand your skepticism. it turns dark, and gets great midway into the season, and that's when the show is at its best.

This. 100% this. It gets really dark and their commitment to gags through the season is strong.

Hollywoo insider.

OK. I finally went back and watched it. It's good. Entertaining, clever and appropriately dark. I thought the underwater episode was pretty genius.

However, I still have to say the circlejerk around this show is absurd. It really makes me not want to like it when people act like it's the only piece of entertainment in the world that ever satirized media/celebrity, or had bad things happen to its main character, or deal with things like depression and alcoholism. People saying shit like "Ooh, the second to last episode left me depressed for two weeks! Look at how much I feel things!"

FOH. Fortunately it's good enough that I can enjoy it anyway. BTW, most of you probably watched this 2 years ago and forgot about it, but this is my favorite joke of the entire series.

I watched the first 3 eps of this. I have no idea where any of this is going, but it's pretty interesting and I'm gonna keep warching.

Plus one on that titty scene. They should have more of those.

I enjoyed it. I'll tune in if there's a Season 2, although I have no fucking clue where they're gonna go with it.

I watched the first four episodes of Santa Clarita Diet yesterday. Enjoyed quite a bit. Not a fantastic comedy, but a great cast free from network television's rules produces enjoyable con_tent. It's better than Walking Dead has been lately if you need a zombie fix.

Started watching Santa Clarita Diet on the flix this weekend. Drew Barrymore wakes up one morning and somehow turns into a zombie. Her husband, Timothy Olyphant, decides to stay with her and help her kill people so she can eat. Hilarity ensues.

I enjoy it thus far.

I finished this and thought it was absolutely hilarious. A little uneven but definitely worth the five-hour investment for ten episodes. All-in for season 2.
