If i didn't love to laugh at David Tennant's accent i would say i won't watch the next one, but goddamn i love to laugh at that accent.

Tenant saying “Miller” with that accent is an absolute joy

Right? When he gets excited and runs off a series of unintelligible scotch Irish gibberish I think it improves my relationship with my wife 10 fold. We just laugh and laugh at whatever the fuck he just said about a cold-blooded rape case.

Yes, Tennant should have to use his normal Scottish voice in all roles. No more using a British accent.

Been watching Bright in 30 min segments on the treadmill (so maybe I'm not giving it the best chance), and I was fairly entertained. But then will and his orc cop bud take this elf girl they accidentally rescued through an orc dive bar and an orc lady they pass by goes "That's an elf!" and just like that the movie lost me completely.

Ok I finished it at my desk, lulz. It's bad but I didn't hate it. I can't wait for the sequel, I'm sure it will be a world class piece of shit after the bad press this one got. The amount of mailing in is going to be off the charts

The trailer for the New Peaky Blinders season that's autoplaying on the 'flix doesn't sound like "Shipping up to Boston" at all. Not one bit.

I see the internet is spooging on the Star Trek Black Mirror episode, but I woulda had that last out of the 6. Still good, mind you, just the worst of the bunch. Great cast and solid moments but overall, eh.

I just watched the Star Trek one. I enjoyed it, but would rate it as average-ish compared to the first 3 seasons. Still very good TV, but I'm glad to hear you think the rest of the season gets better.

Also, that is NOT how I would have guessed he met your mother. :corn:

I started watching Wormwood over the weekend. Decent. I can't stop thinking about Napoleon Dynamite when they show old clips of Eric Olson.

Chappelle mentioned both House of Cards and Stranger Things in his set. That's good network cross-promotion.

Black Mirror made reference to how a series is "now on Netflix"

SYNERGY!

I've got the Star Trek one and Hang the DJ tied for first. My one complaint with Hang the DJ was the title. I was completely distracted during the episode waiting for "Panic" by The Smiths to get played. Would have been more exciting had they given it a normal title and then when you hear the song at the end you get pumped up.

The other four are significantly lower. The one Jodie Foster directed could have been great, but it just kind of fizzled out there at the end.
