We knocked out Season 1 of Black Mirror over the weekend. Really good. Not exactly a happy one.

I do because I've seen the show, but it was not well-written. He was referring the White Christmas episode of Black Mirror, which I believe Bacon thinks is the finest hour of television ever recorded. He is suggesting that everyone should watch it, even if you have what he believes to be shitty taste like you and Balls.

Is Godless for you? Take this quiz to find out.

1. True or false: Somewhere deep in your subconscious, you've always wanted to see Jeff Daniels dress like an evil Mennonite.

2. Did you love Broken Trail on AMC but thought it needed more Lady Mary from Downton Abbey.

3. Do you enjoy ten minute montages involving horse breaking and well digging?

4. Can't get enough canyons? What about gulches?

5. A 7 episode western should have a body count over 300. True or false?

6. Have you ever wondered what happened to a lawman after he loses his shadow?

If you answered yes to any of these and are not bald or 31, you should watch this. Its a slow burn at times, but gets a hard rec from me.

watched the most recent season of Broadchurch. Not too good. They pulled a real Scooby-Doo this year. 8 episode season, 7 episodes of setup and then the 8th episode is what happened on the night of the crime. If i didn't love to laugh at David Tennant's accent i would say i won't watch the next one, but goddamn i love to laugh at that accent.

Um, it's like you didn't wath the first season of Broadchurch at all. Let s throw all kinds of red herrings out there and then have it be someone we didn't focus on all season. Still enjoyed. But glad the series is over.

i liked season one though because at least there were some breadcrumbs going the right direction. this year's "clue" was a couple of minutes in one episode, and otherwise you'd have to be inside the mind of the taxi driver to know the rest of it.

eta - nerf just commented on being a horrible witness in the shoutbox and it made me recall: what the fuck were they doing asking people about their whereabouts 2 years ago? That was ludicrous.

I've been to Fairfield, IA. I don't know if any famous murder happened there.

Excellent <tapping fingers.gif> [/-bjs]

Ha. I enjoyed the girlfriend getting eaten out in episode 2. I'm not sure what these segments have to do with any kind of plot, but I'm enjoying them.

Speaking of -bjs, his role as Ed Kemper was top notch.

I just finished this. It was somewhat entertaining i guess, but what exactly was the point? Nothing happens at the end!
