Netflix (& Chill)

Black Museum was #1 for me.

I liked Star Trek, but not as much as the internet.

Hang the DJ was great.

black museum was the best one imo. the worst one was the one about wpatmd, obviously. totally pointless. it kind of tied into black museum i guess? one of the worst eps of the entire series though. need to think on my rankings for the rest.

Yep, after watching Black Museum, I was like, "Oh, maybe that changes things with the end of wpatmd episode"

Still, not worth it.

I watched 'Crocodile' yesterday. Really uplifting stuff, made me feel good about human nature.

I thought Black Museum kinda blew. Just Charlie Booker dumping out his notebook and loosely tying everything together.

I have a take on this show. It bats like maybe .260, strikes out in half its plate appearances in the most excruciating way imaginable, but when it gets ahold of one, look out.

I never wanted to be a dead lesbian more than after San Junipero.

So far I am 3 eps into this year and they have not turned on a ball.

So is this Black Mirror just another mediocre show bacons trying to make happen, like that awful Bojack Horseman?

Also, watched the Chappelle things. They were fine. But him smacking the mic on his leg was irritating me.

I enjoy Black Mirror, but some of the eps are dark af. I don't think it's as hot or miss as sco seems to think, I've pretty consistently liked the show.

It's a really good show. I'd rarely call it enjoyable.

Solid point. It is a well-made and thought-provoking show, but if it brings you joy then you might have mental problems.

February 2nd:

I read the first book of this series and it was really good. Hoping the show is good too. A little apprehensive because the S1 lead is Joel Kinnaman who was Gov Conway on House of Cards. From seeing him in that and in Suicide Squad, I think he is a shitty actor.

I'm three episodes into the fourth season Peaky Blinders. So far so good, took me a bit to get used to those accents (ACCENTS = OSSUM!!!11!1!) but starting to feel a little Sopranos-ish with the mother issues.

Also, an impeccable Marlon Brando impersonation by Adrian Brody.

Finished Peaky Blinders. Pretty good, I was 75% sure I saw that one twist coming. Felt like the episode dragged after all the good shit happened, then we're left with.....that? What do you do now?
