I'm not 100% sure that wasn't a shot at Skipper rather than a fuckup. Like, "yeah, this guy who was kicking ass and is a friend of mine broke this, goddamn right he's ours. Fuck you, Skipper."

Bucci's 'ours forever' follow up tweet was great too.

Yeah. That broke twitter.

Frankly no one knows this mcmurphy character anyway. I hate Steve Levy and his orange toupee.
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

I liked McMurphy. His little girl was actually rather entertaining on Gameday a few years ago without being a total knob, which is a hard thing to pull...

What in the fuck does this nonsense mean?

Image

Suspended fewer games than black players? I wonder if Wilbon remembers the Mike Evans incident from this year.

Image

You know, where Mike Evans, a black player, blindsided another player with a dangerous hit, did not get ejected, and was suspended one game. Math might not be your thing, but one and one seem to be the same number.

I literally have no idea what point he was trying to make. That's a very rambling statement from a guy who's supposed to be good at talking and making a point.

This sentence in particular is very confusing:

The perception is among people that are not in New England perhaps, that this white player, and again, you guys made it about New England.

OK, some guys made it about New England, whatever that means. But who made it about white?

This is the same shit Wilbon, Stephen A, Bomani, and our own mister bacon pull. Some vague ass statement about how "YOU should know what I'm talking about." "If you don't know, I don't know what to tell you." "I didn't make it about that, so maybe YOU have the problem." And we, as white guys, have to sit there and take it otherwise we're being defensive and clearly hiding something.

Once again, it's an amazing racket and nearly argument-proof.

Was the Mike Evans hit after the whistle for no reason? I have no idea what play your referring to, but I suspect your fav morning program cherry picked that one for you to get pretend mad about.

Of course you're playing ignorant. It doesn't fit your whining. But yes, it was all of the above.

I always turn to Mike Wilbon for sage wisdom, because I'm a person who's never existed ever.

Memba when the Boston Globe dragged John Buccigross through the mud with buzzwords like "harrassment" and various creepy hashtags? Bitches, man.

I was just reading about that on Deadspin. I thought this was funny:

Another incident involved Jenn Sterger, who—while she was being considered for a job at the network in 2006—was shown “a copy of a Playboy magazine that she had modeled for” by a network executive and was “taken to a strip club, by Matthew Berry, who was interviewing as a contributor for The Fantasy Show.” The Globe wrote:

The strip club outing was not a formal ESPN activity, but it followed a dinner with company employees and involved several male job candidates. Sterger said she initially did not realize where they were going and she was teased about being uncomfortable once there.

Sterger and Berry say they were both admonished for the strip club outing, but Sterger did not get a job at ESPN while Berry did. ESPN said it chose another woman who had more experience, though an e-mail from the network at the time also said Sterger could have improved her chances by showing “more professional behavior.” Berry is now ESPN’s senior fantasy analyst and one of the most influential personalities in fantasy sports.

Bucci was such a heavy favorite in the "ESPN employee sending unsolicited shirtless pictures to women" pool that they took it off the board.
