Are they trying to kill this thing off quickly like Fox did with Arrested Development?) last night and I commented to my wife that if this were a new show I would have given up on it by now. I will keep watching mainly because I have watched since day 1 and feel invested in seeing how it ends. But I have not really enjoyed this season so far.

So it's kind of like The Office because, yeah I agree with you

Except with The Office I could point to specific reasons (mainly the absence of Michael Scott) it sucked the last season. I don't really know what it is about Parks & Rec I don't like. Rashida Jones is hot - Rob Lowe too! - but I don't feel like they were integral to my enjoyment of the show.

I'm going to disagree with you. I have thoroughly enjoyed this season.

They are burning off twelve episodes over the course of six weeks.

I haven't hated it either, but it hasn't been amazing.

NBC claims that the sixteen episodes in eight weeks will make it a "special event" that's a worthy tribute to a great show. Given that it's in its sixth time slot in seven seasons, I think cheese's term of "burning off the episodes" is more accurate.

I did enjoy that ep...much better than the ones prior to that one. Thus my comment about being glad they resolved the Leslie/Ron tension.

Put it in your body, or you're a nerd! I thought my computer froze up during Ron's commercial.

Bill Murray deserves all the credit and any of the blame is on you.

I thought the Johnny Karate episode was a great opportunity missed. Seems to be a little too sentimental already. I get the teary shit in the final episode but there are still five left.

I thought there were only two left.

You're right. I thought the final season was 16 eps for some reason. My bad. I'm still disappointed.

Aubrey Plaza does things for me. She's also objectively crazy.

All P&R characters ranked

Can't argue with Ron/Jean-Ralphio as 1-2. Glad Perd got some top 5 love as well.

Ron has to be number 1. On this there can be no debate (TM JT99). Outside that I have many beers.
