Basically, a high school chemistry feature finds out he has terminal ling cancer and goes into the meth cooking business to leave money for his family when he dies.

The first episode was great, can't wait to see how the season progresses.

This show is amazingly made. A must see.

just checked it out tonight, and i echo these sentiments. good ass show.

Good call, IMS.

I just finished the series this weekend. I should have taken your original advice.

Reading the new book from the Freakonomics guys and they had this story in their about a secret Jewish bullet factory. Had to have been the inspiration for Fring's lab.

So I finally broke down and watched the pilot episode last night. I'm hooked--amazing hour of television well done. I'll be watching the rest of the series over the next few weeks now that most of the current series are ending their seasons.

The first two seasons, while good, are substantial slower than the rest of the series. There will be one or two missteps along the way where they get a bit outlandish but, all in all, you'll be happy that you put in the time, I believe.

Better Call Saul has been picked up for a second season. But season one has been pushed back from November to Q1 of 2015.

Ralph Steadman is apparently a big Breaking Bad fan and has created limited edition covers for the Blu-Ray release next year:

Fantastic.

Though the Walter one is just an old drawing of Hunter with a goatee.
