I saw a photo yesterday of the sunny cast at some event promoting the show, and Dennis was there.

What’s the plan with Dennis, TVF?

This article is from August, but it looks like it's still up in the air.

Also
It has been reported that the next season of Always Sunny won’t air until 2019 at the earliest.
