TY. Maybe I'll waste tonight on this. It's either that or getting my Witcher character's XP up to the point I can hop a boat to Skeelliggiee.

I watched the first episode of that Mars show on National Geographic. In some ways it's impressive, but I'm not going to stick with it. The format bugs me. It envisions how we could send the first manned mission to Mars in 17 years, using factual interviews from today. The constant back-and-forth between 2016 documentary and 2033 fiction is jarring and doesn't work at all for me. The effects are very good for what I assume is a budget-constrained production, but the acting in the fiction portion is really really bad.

If you think the topic is interesting, rent The Martian and follow Elon Musk and SpaceX on twitter. Better content.

It's from Greg Daniels--the same guy who did The Office and Parks & Rec. Has a similar vibe as The Office with a bunch of kooky people interacting. Will give it a few more eps to see if it does well.

What did you think? I only got halfway through the first episode, but didn't delete it from my DVR yet. If it gets better I'd consider a re-peep.

Anyone watching Vikings on History Channel? It's on the list of shows that I've been meaning to watch that I will likely never get to.
Ballz: So, I fucking got a BJ for $250 total, and wore a rubber. It sucked, I couldnt even feel it, so i jeckyled onto her tits. She was cute. Not even that far out of my league, it was a waste of $250

Seen a couple eps after the pilot. I'd say it's worth seeing a couple more eps and if it doesn't really appeal to you you're not missing out on much by deleting it from the DVR.

Started watching this show Horace & Pete that I think is only on Hulu. Recommend for now. By that I mean the first two episodes were very good due to the racism, liberal bashing, and mockery of homos, hipsters, and the mentally disabled. But I think this is one of those shows that tries too hard. The 3rd episode was terrible to the point I had to turn it off. Might look into episode 4 to see if it gets good again.

All star cast including Nucky Thompson/Tony Blundetto, Carmela Soprano, and that Louis CK1 guy. But Hawkeye from MASH steals the show.
