I'm pretty sure I have the Neil Diamond one at home, but I'm at work now. I'll check it out this weekend and let you know. Don't think I have any of the others though.

I am desperately looking for the one where the Rock plays superman, maybe the height of SNL.

SNL sucks nowadays eh. Jimmy Fallon was supposed to be their "saving grace" when Ferrell left, and now HE'S gone to Hollywood. This was a stupid move and I doubt he's going to have as successful career there as E-Murph or Farrell. Not only that he left SNL in a state of emergency, and with Tina Fey(is that her name?) as their headliner, like your economy was, thee next few seasons are headed into a recession.

Fallon can go to hell for cashing in on our moment after the series. I refuse to see that movie and I hope all Red Sox fans join me to make it lose as much money as possible.

Fallon was never even that good on SNL. He's never once been able to keep a straight face through an entire sketch. Sometimes this makes it even funnier, but a lot of times it just ruins it because he's laughing too hard to even get his lines right. Even when Ferrell was still there, the show was still way down from where it was in the mid to late nineties. As soon as he left, it was all over. I don't think I could even name 3 cast members now. It's just not the same, and it's gonna take a lot of work to get it back close to what it once was.

In some ways I agree with everyone, but its been like this every couple of years. Everytime someone important leaves, there is a contingent of people that say, "now its just really gone downhill." I am sure there are still people saying that it really tanked when Chevy Chase left, or Bill Murray. Or for you mid-90's folks, when Dana Carvey, Mike Myers or Phil Hartman left.

Hell, there may even be some people who think the show went down hill once GE Smith left the band.

I know, I miss his blonde pony tail and his pained face as he played the guitar.

Frankly the show hasnt been as good as it was since Jean Doumanian stopped working there. And if anyone gets that reference big ups to you, I'm lying though, she sucked.

in an attempt to revive this old thread i wanted to say that i loved will ferrell playing james lipton in Inside the Actors Studio. my two personal favorties are when he interviews bill bob thornton and keeps calling him willy robby. thornton ends up shooting lipton after he orders hot dogs from a vendor "5 hot dogs my good man . . . .let the mustard flow like yellow river of goodness"

i also liked when he interviewed charles nelson reilly, played by alec baldwin

Back in the day it was good...but I hate it now. Fuck em. Bring on the new era: Chapelle's Show, MAD TV, etc.
