i think i'm done with ww2 movies from the western European perspective. give me something about the African or Pacific theatre and i'll still be curious.

There's a shitload of movies about the Pacific. This is nonsense.

Also The Pacific is amazeballs.

I would like HBO or someone to adapt this trilogy.

I hated The Pacific. Ok that's too strong, but i didn't love it like i expected to. With all due respect, i don't give one flying fuck about the homefront experience. Realistically depict Guadalcanal for me so i can see how insane my grandfather was. thank you.

Yeah the 3rd (?) ep that was all in Australia... with all due respect, Rio, no one cares

The last ep though with the survivors going home.... dusty times
mister bacon love watching soccer. baseball is about as exciting as scratching my balls.

I didn't care for it either. I think I got bogged down in the 5th or 6th episode and never finished it. I enjoyed the Australia episode. The Aussie the one guy nails was hot if I remember.

You said you're no longer interested in Europe, but would welcome something about Africa or the Pacific. He said there's a shitload of movies about the Pacific. Am I missing something here?

Guardians of the Galaxy 2. I admit from the jump that i did not watch Guardians of the Galaxy One. Howeva. This movie is straight garbage. Dialogue written by George Lucas's cat. Jokes that aren't funny the first time, repeated ad nauseum (hey guys the grey muscle guy laughed loudly at a thing that wasn't funny again, drink). Rowdy Burns wasted in some role where he's a blue man with a plate on his head who hates Sylvester Stallone. Just do like 1 movie a year, Marvel. This thing is unraveling.
