Hotel TV is one of my biggest GRRRRRs. How fucking hard is it to get a useful channel guide like we all have in our homes? And stop going back to your goddamn "home" screen every time I turn the TV off. No one gives a fuck; we just want to watch TV.

the delay in response between the remote and the hotel TV is probably my #1 hotel complaint. "FUCK, i didn't want to go 6 channels up, i just wanted to go 1 but it took so long i pressed the button 5 more times and now we're up here on Animal Planet, i just want to see how many runs the Braves lost by today goddammit"

I have to be honest. I'm starting to get "irked" at this office christmas party hate. It was good!

Anyway, I forgot, when i was in Charlotte last week I perused a film in my room called Fist Fight, starring Iced Cube and some white nerdy dude that is proly sotsg famous. It was pretty lame. I remember maybe chuckling a few times. Probably not though. It involves a surly negro teacher getting peeved at the white teacher for snitching on him about something, and tells him he is going to fight him after school. They end up fighting and hilarity ensues? I don't think i would rec. I look forward to submitting my expenses and everyone assuming the movie i watched is pornography.

The white nerdy dude is, in fact, SOTSG famous for his role in a little show called It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Maybe you've heard of it?

Does your company pay for your hotel movies? That would not fly with the cheap fucks at WolfCo. Do hotels even still offer porn? Who the fuck pays for porn in our lord's two thousand and seventeenth year?

The room is on the corporate account, and i put the movie on the room, so i'm not sure how that will work with the expenses. We shall see.

pro tip: when you check out, ask to pay for the movie (or whatever else you want to hide) in cash, and for it to be moved off your room bill to a separate invoice.

ETA something called Wrecker just came on my tv and i'm more than halfway through it. two smoking hot chicks road tripping through the southwest or california or somewhere deserty in the middle of nowhere end up in some twisted cat and mouse game with a sicko driving a tow truck. i think this movie has been made about 700 times before. tension builds and builds, the evil driver is never shown, the girls get scared and angry and scared and look hot, they are constantly undone by the absence of a cell phone signal. it's exactly as good or bad as you would think it should be. i don't now if there are opportunities for nudity here because it would be edited out. can't wait to see how it ends. great decision to call it Wrecker instead of The Wrecker, makes it edgier.

Doctor Strange.

Never read the comics as a kid. This movie wasn't bad at all. Probably somewhere in the middle of the Marvel pack. Better than the first two Thor movies, the Marvel Hulk movie, Ultron, and Iron Man 3 for sure.

I watched The Comedian, starring Robert De Niro. It is about an actor that was on a huge sitcom 30 years ago, trying to make it in stand-up today. but everyone just wants him to do lines from his show 3 decades ago.

It's Rated R, so the humor is mostly blue. I think De Niro does a good job in this. Felt like a good character for him. There are a lot of cameos, and snippets of other stand-up acts that are very funny. The movie drags a little - the co-star is Leslie Mann, so of course it drags. prob coulda cut like 20-25 mins.

I give it a semi-rec.
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

I warched Sully about the pilot. Haunting, powerful. Cameos by Turtle and Michael Rappaport.

This movie was everything I expected - doing everything possible to paint woman as heroes and men as useless selfish piles of shit who couldn't possibly be bothered to participate in their kids' lives. The big twist that I didn't see coming was that it was funny. Like, several laugh out loud moments funny. I genuinely enjoyed my enjoyment of this film. Katherine Hahn in particular was excellent. She's not just funny for a chick, but really and truly funny. She also managed to look significantly hotter than Kristen Bell in this, which is good for one of them.

Best part for me was the scene where Mila Kunis and her husband were in counseling and he was complaining that she hadn't blown him in 5 years. She said if he'd clean the kitchen or make the kids dinner once in a while, she'd give him so many blow jobs his dick would explode. I reminded my adoring bride that I do these things on a regular basis. Much to my surprise, she rattled off a list of other things I do, admitted that the movie was ridiculously critical of dads and that I'm nothing like that, and said she genuinely appreciates everything I do. She seemed to be sincere. Much to nobody's surprise, she did not show her appreciation with a beej. We have fun.

Upon a strong recommendation from PJ76, we watched Bad Moms last night.

Not much to add to Wolf's review, other than I didnt think it was quite as funny as he did. Kathryn Hahn was funny, and so was Kristen Bell, actually. JJ Watt was funny also, sort of. I found Mila Kunis to be a loathsome creature. And also, her wonky eye was on full display all movie.

They did make every single male in the movie, besides that dishy Latino guy, a complete moron. I like that he was a widower, but then never addressed how his moron died. Great writing.

They are making a Bad Dads now. I can only imagine they will paint the men as do-everything heroes and the woman to all be useless dopes to counter this film. #LOLJK

I give this film a soft rec.

Dunce really enjoyed it.

It was about what I expected. I was closer to Balls' evaluation than to Wolf's. Kunis really had very few redeeming qualities in this movie. Even her dress that was supposedly from a slutty Halloween costume was boring. It wasn't awful, but pretty forgettable.

John Wick 2 - If you liked John Wick, you'll like the sequel. Plenty of action, lots of guns, some plot. I'll give them a lot of credit for having a plot that doesn't get in the way, but builds the Wick universe. I thought the finale fight scene was a treemendous take on an old classic, and that the stuff after setup the third nicely.

If I'm knocking off points, its for too much marble and the nightclub.
