Brosnan's first was great, probably a top fiver for me, but each of his got progressively less interesting. The last one was just abysmal: Brosnan seemed to go through the motions, and the plot was as hokey as something from the Roger Moore films. Only difference, it wasn't meant to be campy like the Moore movies.

Daniel Craig is off to a good start with Casino Royale. I like the two Connery films mentioned above, but I'm also partial to Goldfinger. I mean, where else can you get a character named Pussy Galore? I always liked the 70s Roger Moore Bond films as well. If I had to rank the Bonds:

1. Connery
2. Moore
3. Brosnan
4. Craig (only here because of small sample size)
5. Lazenby
6. Dalton

With Roger Moore's death it's time to revisit the rankings. I'd move Craig above Moore at this point--he's been really good in the films he's done. Plus they're generally better films than what Brosnan did over his time as Bond.

Watched the most recent one--SPECTRE--this past weekend. Entertaining flick.

Since I am old like Prez, Moore was my Bond and I didn't understand the fuss about Bond movies. I thought they were stupid. I think they got better after he left.

I was watching Colbert /79 ln, and he interviewed Daniel Craig. DC announced that he will return for Bond 25. The crowd cheered for him.
