Movies You've Never Seen

Postby D'Annunzio » 01 Nov 2007, 11:39

For some reason, people get pissed off when they hear other people haven't seen certain movies. There are several movies that it's assumed everyone has seen, but I haven't. What movies haven't you seen? Mine are:

The Godfather Part II and Part III
The Matrix-all of them
All of the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter movies
Spaceballs
Bull Durham
Field of Dreams
The Shawshank Redemption
It's a Wonderful Life

Nice idea.

I haven't seen:
Godfather 2 or 3 (at least not in the entirety straight through on #2, I've probably watched 90% of it though at one point or another)
Raging Bull
Gone with the Wind

D'A, you must not ever tune into TNT if you've never seen any of the LOTR movies or Shawshank.

I've never seen any of the Star Wars movies. The force is not strong here.

Not being a horror fan, I never saw any of the Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm or Halloween movies or sequels.
Ballz: So, I fucking got a BJ for $250 total, and wore a rubber. It sucked, I couldnt even feel it, so i jeckyled onto her tits. She was cute. Not even that far out of my league, it was a waste of $250

Top Gun
Grease (my wife tried to force me to sit down & watch it recently, but fortunately I fell asleep about 15 minutes in and woke up during the closing number)
Office Space
Fight Club

I used to know a girl who had never seen the original Star Wars. She would get angry if you'd just ask her why she's never seen it.

I saw the first three of them (or are they the last three, who the F knows) but I haven't seen the newer ones - the prequels or whatever they are called.

Saw one of the LOTR movies, thought it was long and boring, so I never saw the remaining ones.

Never saw any Harry Potter movies.

Out of the movies listed above, I would HIGHLY recommend Good Fellas and Shawshank Redemption. Shawshank is a really good movie.

Of the movies listed here, I would highly recommend Office Space, Old School, and Halloween 1 and 2. Although I think Old School may be just a cunt hair overrated.

i saw part of the first prequel(i think it was phantom menace?), fell asleep about halfway through, and didn't bother seeing the rest. i also haven't seen any of the harry potter movies or any of the "horror" movies RSN mentions. i didn't see any of the John Hughes 80's movies: 16 candles, breakfast club, i forget all the names of those. didn't see goonies. i never saw the lion king. those are some i can think of right now....

ETA: i did see Ferris Bueller but not his other 80's flicks.

Old School was one of Vince Vaughn's better movies though, IMO.

Agreed, but that's like saying that Good Vibrations is one of Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch's better songs.
