-House of Games
-Bull Durham
-Unforgiven
-The Matrix (the original only)
-Goodfellas

Lots of others like The Karate Kid, Star Wars (ep IV), Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Naked Gun, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, etc. all would have had a great chance to make the list if I had posted this list after a few more caffeinated beverages.

Top 5 Frankie roles:

Dishonorable mentions: Do the Right Thing, Raging Bull. Both of these critically acclaimed movies stunk.

5. Made Men

I think i've seen this before, but i don't recall it.

4. Cop Land

I know i've seen this but i dont' remember it, but i searched for my preview of it and apparently i enjoyed!

Cop Land starring Sly Stallone, Harvey Keitel, Al Pacino, The red head that plays a wigger in every movie he's in and once played Phoebe's cop boyfriend in a classic episode of friends, Deacon from King of Queens and a bunch of characters from the Sopranos, including Artie and the crazy car saleswoman girlfriend that threw mutton in tony's face.

Found it while perusing netflix, and was surprised with that cast that I had never been inclined to peep it before. It was pretty good. I think movies for me are 75% keep me entertained, which it did, and 25% have an interesting/solid ending, which I wasn't really feeling here. If it was on TBS, and I ran across it I'd probably watch it again though.

3. Casino.

Frankie plays a decent thug role here. Loses points for murking pesci in a grotesque scene that ball would love to watch in real life. Plus Stone ruins this film.

2. Goodfellas

Billy Batts. Loses points for only being really in one scene, but it is the most identifiable scene from a GREAT mobster flick.

1. Sopranos

Phil leotardo. What a great character. So quotable. "The turd doesn't fall far from the faggots ass". "take that piece of shit and get off my stoop!" "what the hells wrong with you? you look like a puerto rican whore. you make me sick". "lemme tell you a coupla three things." I use that one regularly. Classic shit.

And a great death too. A great character from the greatest television masterpiece in television show making history. You will be missed. RIP.

Most identifiable scenes from Goodfellas:

5. Henry coked out racing the helicopter
4. Karen pointing the revolver at the camera
3. Teenage Henry freeze framed in front of the exploding car
2. Get your fucking shine box
1. Walking into the club

that's true, that should be on there, egregious. it's a cliche now which i guess makes it the most identifiable thing from the entire movie. i like when he shoots spider better.

Ha, I think the second time is the clear winner.

I agree re:funny how, scene. It doesn't do anything for me anymore, but that is the most famous scene of the movie, and for good reason. Quite possibly the greatest character introduction of all time.

I also love the jump cut from the boys telling Tommy's mom to go back to bed to them all eating around the table. Classic.

I read the book over the weekend. It is remarkable how much of the screenplay was taken almost word for word from the book.
