Who are you, Alabama's Malcolm X?

In fairness, I really enjoyed that game, though I have a feeling that the officiating crew will be put in a vacant within the next month.

Here is the note that the Canada women's hockey team left for Canada's men's hockey team before the game against the U.S.:

Put Feb 16th on your calendars. The last game of pool play features Canada vs. Finland and will dictate who gets the bye and who needs to play their way into the quarters. I see Finland losing that 3-1, then making their way into the quarters by trouncing Slovenia or some other bum country. After that it's upset time.

The Prediction: I like them bouncing the USA then going on to defeat a listless Russia in the bronze medal match.

Had the prediction right, but the order wrong. I think we were a FLU shot away from gold silver.

Congrats to Canada. They were the best team and deserved to win, but it's unfortunate that Nicklas Backstrom was scratched from the gold medal game because he failed a doping test, testing positive for a substance found in allergy medication. I understand that rules are rules, but sometimes common sense should win out.

Swedish Olympic Committee spokesman Bjorn Folin said the banned substance was in an allergy medication that Backstrom has taken for the past seven years.
Ballz: So, I fucking got a BJ for $250 total, and wore a rubber. It sucked, I couldnt even feel it, so i jeckyled onto her tits. She was cute. Not even that far out of my league, it was a waste of $250

Against the silver, bronze and 4th place finishers, Canada gave up a total of 1 goal in 3 games. Apparently defense DOES win championships.

I think it's pretty logical for a coach of a national team to expect all members of that team to stand for the national anthem. They are specifically representing their country. They are not being denied employment if they elect not to stand. Standing for the anthem seems like a pretty fair condition to being on Team USA. :beatsme:

Lebatard and crew were making fun of Torts for saying that, whilst pretending staying within the liberal ESPN echo chamber of applauding Kaep is some "bold stance". Smh.

Wilbon said the same thing. Torts is being a "bully", and it doesn't matter because it's only hockey. If it was a "real sport" like basketball (ok) or track and field (wtf!?) then it would be a big deal.
