Looks like Armstrong stole Jay Bouwmeester from the Flames. Add him to the trade for Jordan Leopold from the Sabres over the weekend and they've done a lot to improve the blueline over the past few days.

Former NHL tough guy, current Blues radio announcer, and one time Battle of the Blades contestant Kelly Chase hooked us up with some sweet club seats and access to the new 16 Suite outside of the Blues locker room tonight.

I really hope it was me at :30 that Chris Stewart is telling to Fuck Off.

And Miss Missouri sat behind me. Here I look like I am contemplating locking her in a dungeon.

Not too quick there, eh Jonathan?

I'll have to watch this on a bigger screen in the morning to see if I can see me crotch chopping. I'm 10 rows behind that goal.

Haha you're insane
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

Huuuuuuge game tonight in STL between two Cup contenders. I expect this to be the lead on SportsCenter tonight. I'm wearing my autographed TJ Oshie jersey right now in anticipation.

The Blues have a stupid blue rat (they say it's a bear) for a mascot. There's two empty seats next to me all game. The stupid rat comes and sits next to me in the 3rd period. He has a camera guy with him, so I know during the next stoppage in play Im gonna be on the jumbotron.

Anyway, whistle blows. I look up at the screen and we're on it. The rat starts spraying a can of silly string on the Blackhawks fan in front of me. Eh, what am I to do? Oh, how about crotch chopping furiously whilst on the jumbotron.

Yes, I'm in my 40's.

if im cooking frozen pizza in the oven, how long should i preheat it. box says preheat to 375F but for how long?

Apr 25
the opportunity cost of knowing how to preheat an oven is pretty puny compared to anything else

I like the big trade from the Blues perspective.

Sure they run the risk of Miller and Ott only being rentals for the year.

But Halak just isn't a top goalie. You need to be able to ride one in the playoffs. Stewart can dominate teams like Edm and Calgary. But when the Blues play playoff caliber teams, Stewart always disappeared.

I like that the Blues were able to get Ott. Since the start of 2008-9, Ott and Backes have been #1 and #2 in the league in hits delivered. That should give them some added toughness heading into the playoffs, something they need to compete with the California teams.

18-0-1 against the Central Division

19-4-2 against the Eastern Conference

but 7-10-3 against the Pacific Division. They just don't match up well against ANA-LA-SJ-VAN.

I don't think they'll need to worry about meeting my Canucks in the playoffs.
