The San Jose Sharks thread

Originally titled "Los Tiburones 2006".

With the Warriors floundering and the Sharks streaking, seems like a good time to jump back on the bandwagon. Let's go Sharks!

So like I was saying in the shoutbox, I never met Niko while he was at Umaine. Then one day me and my then boyfriend are in Boston walking to Fenway, when this guy sees my boy's Umaine hat and yells to him to come over. He is standing next to this truck and talking to the guy in the truck, who happens to be Niko. We're like woah, how about that. And Niko's friend is like, "Let Niko sign your hat!" So he did. He was all embarassed about it too. This was after his rookie year with the Sharks where he did pretty well. I told him to keep up the good work.

Pffft, big deal! This one time, Ashley Judd hit on me...unfortunately, Dustin Hoffman was the only witness.

I really like the Sharks team. If they manage to make the playoffs, I think they will really do some damage. Thornton, Marleau and Cheechoo are probably 3 of the top 20 forwards in the NHL.

Cheechoo is an incredible player. He could be better than Thornton and Marleau in a couple of years. Really tough loss tonite, but shit happens they'll get back on it and sneak into the playoffs.

7 1\2 years is long enough between posts to not get in trouble for double posting right?

Great #HOTSPROTSTAKE on Cheechoo by Snake.

Cheechoo has scored 77 goals (and 72 assists) in the seasons since that post, and has been out of the league 3 years, since he turned 30. Marleau has 217 goals (plus 231 assists) and Thornton has 142 (plus 430 assists).
