Balls: I know a guy who came home after high school one day to over hear his mom and dad having a 3some with another lady. He actually went to beat off during it in his room.

The NHLess Winter Olympics start Feb 9th.

I'm flyered up to see some ugly mix of AHL, European league, and World Junior Squad guys suit up for us. Its going to be great when the best 4 guys on my BU Terriers end up skipping Hockey East in Feb so that we can come in 6th.

I'm going to go bold and call Finland over Canada in the finals, with Russia losing the bronze medal game to Sweden.

Buffalo Sabres. I know what the over/under is even though you didn't post it, because i just tried to bet it yesterday. My lebanese boach choker pal's father is in vegas and wanted to put in a bet for a bunch of us on the 'bres. The number was 87.5 points. I told him i know nothing of hockey but will put a hundo on the over because in jack we trust. We had a pool of wagers putting in on it, and one guy poo pooing the action, a tru fan, saying they will stink this year, but he'd throw down $50 anyway. I said that was terrible karma, and we were fucked because of his negative attitude. Then we realized the action on the over was -130, so we would have to lay $130 to win $100. The lebanese boach choker didn't like this action, nor the bad karma from negative nancy, and pulled our action. So we didn't bet it. Which EASILY makes this an OVER for the sabres this year.

I'll get to my 2017-2018 Stanley Cup Winning Tampa Bay Lightning preview later, but I figured I'd post this to help with the O/U. It's nearly four weeks old, but getting to a gambling web site from work is proving more difficult than getting a large cache of fully automatics weapons into a high end Las Vegas hotel.

On Tuesday, Sept. 5, the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook released season point totals for all 31 teams.
Here they are, listed in alphabetical order:

Anaheim Ducks -- 106.5
Arizona Coyotes -- 74.5
Boston Bruins -- 92.5
Buffalo Sabres -- 87.5
Calgary Flames -- 95.5
Carolina Hurricanes -- 93.5
Chicago Blackhawks -- 99.5
Colorado Avalanche -- 69.5
Columbus Blue Jackets -- 96.5

Dallas Stars -- 98.5
Detroit Red Wings -- 78.5
Edmonton Oilers -- 103.5
Florida Panthers -- 85.5
Los Angeles Kings -- 89.5
Minnesota Wild -- 96.5
Montreal Canadiens -- 100.5
Nashville Predators -- 98.5
New Jersey Devils -- 74.5
New York Islanders -- 88.5
New York Rangers -- 95.5

Ottawa Senators -- 92.5
Philadelphia Flyers -- 91.5
Pittsburgh Penguins -- 104.5
San Jose Sharks -- 96.5
St. Louis Blues -- 95.5
Tampa Bay Lightning -- 102.5
Toronto Maple Leafs -- 94.5
Vancouver Canucks -- 72.5
Vegas Golden Knights -- 68.5
Washington Capitals -- 103.5
Winnipeg Jets -- 92.5

The hurricanes will win some games, lose some games, and not move back to Hartford. 46-26-10. Are there 82 games in the NHL season? No way to know, but that's gonna be their record.

LA Kings, huh?

This team has all the makings of a team that will win some games. I'm pretty sure they will lose some game too. Do they still allow ties in the NHL? (Googles.... nope, tiebreakers). They will NOT tie any games this season.

I will flip a coin and say OVER on whatever the number is, because I've heard of their goalie Jonathan Quick, who is from the not so great state of Connecticut.

My New York Islanders have something to prove this year after getting kicked out of their fake Brooklyn arena....Namely that their 41 home games can pay more rent than a couple Eric Church concerts and whatever else Barclay's has going on when the Nets are not there.

So its back to Long Island for um....(let me look up their roster)....wait a second, it looks like they are playing this season at Barclays and then moving to:

Image

Belmont Park?

http://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/2087 ... other-turn

Hmm, well the Islanders averaged 13k fans last season and Belmont holds over 100k so it looks like there's room for everyone. I assume that they are going to flood the infield and play outdoors like TRU Canadian kids out in their backyards. I think this is a great strategy as a frozen infield should be 8x larger than an olympic sized rink. The combination of horses, playing outdoors, and a giant surface will give them a definite home ice advantage.

Unfortunately, that's all next year. Until then Tevez Tavares and those other guys who I didn't look up will be stuck in Brooklyn sharing space with Eric Church and whatever else performs at Barclays. I think this is going to be a bummer for them and they'll hit the under.

Tampa Bay Lightning -- 102.5
Image

Last year the Lightning finished with 94 points and missed the playoffs after great playoff runs the two previous years.

Just a bump in the road or the start of a slide back into mediocrity?

Image

I think it's just a bump in the road. Our GM (Detroit Red Wing legend Steve Yzerman :19: ) traded one of our best young players (Jonathon Drouin) to Les Habs for a younger and cheaper player. We got their top prospect, an 18-year-old defenseman named Mikhail Sergachev (Russia!Russia!Russia!). This move looks like a good trade on just a player-for-player basis, but also benefited the Ning by freeing up cap space to sign Tyler Johnson and Ondrej Palat to long term deals and sign a couple of short term veterans under the cap. Drouin is a good player, but was always bitching and would be expecting big money in a few years, so I think it was a good long term move.

Image

We also signed Chris Kunitz away from the Pens, probably hoping to get some Stanley Cup experience on the team. That helps, right?

If Stamkos and Callahan can stay healthy, which is not a sure thing, they should be fine. But Stamkos has been lost for big parts of the last two seasons due to AIDSbola and Callahan's hip is currently being held together by some wood screws and bailing wire.

I see them making the playoffs, but not getting 103 points. Take the UNDER.

Colorado Avalanche

Any team with Peter Forsberg and Joe Sakic on offense and Roy in net are going to be tough. Adam Foote is a hell of a competitor and I hope Ray Bourque finally gets his cup.

Going strong all in on the OVER

Flyers 91.5.

Like you guys, I do not know what type of point total is good in the league. I think the team sucked ly, so i will say they continue the trend. Under is the play.
