2015 NBA Draft

2015 NBA Draft

Postby Jew Jitsu » 23 Jun 2014, 13:43

Who is looking promising so far? What franchise player will the cavs get this time around? Preferably a center but beggars can't be choosers

PG: Kyrie Irving
SG: Dion Waiters
SF: Andrew Wiggins
PF: possibly Lebron, if not, a solid back up plan in Tristan Thompson
C: #1 overall in 2015

Usher: Anthony Bennett

Discuss.

Do you think you could get Durant in 2015, and ship Waiters off for some depth?
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

I could see us facilitating a trade to get KD to his rightful place in Boston via a 3-way. Waiters and wiggins to OKC. Sully and Jeff green to the cavs. KD and a first (from Cleveland) to Boston.

So Chad Ford got caught editing his draft boards years after the fact? What does he care about being right? I mean if he survived Darko, I am not sure what could bring him down.

ESPN wrote:After reviewing the post on Reddit today, we have found that changes were made manually to Chad Ford's NBA Draft prospects rankings. We have not been able to determine who made the changes, or when. We have talked to Chad Ford, who strongly denies any involvement, and based on his past work and professionalism, we believe him. Our review will continue but it is unclear at this time if we will be able to ascertain who was responsible.

Bill hangs Chad for Darko constantly, but EVERYBODY FORGETS THIS that Bill said Emeka Okafor was a better pick than Dwight Howard.

There's a 0% chance that whatever software that ESPN uses to edit/publish their articles/blogs doesn't have a way to tell who makes the edits.

Also, Chad didn't spend the next decade unfairly criticizing Melo or Wade in an underhanded attempt to make himself appear less wrong. So there's that.

But yeah, it doesn't seem like there's much to gain for Chad Ford to do this. He's still considered a top draft expert, and it's inevitable that in researching hundreds of prospects a year, he'll lose the forest for the trees here and there. Really strange.

2015 Mock draft.

Guys: can any of these fuckheads play in the NBA? Let me re-phrase, any of them gonna be studs like Kobe or KG and such? I need a superstar on my stupid team...so I can then flip for multiple 2s in a year.

I like the OSU kid, though it looks like he's slumping lately.

The nerds are loving him; he does shit.

It's Okafor/Towns in whatever order you prefer, then him and the dude who went to China, in whatever order you prefer.

The Osu kid sort of annoys me. When he has a few bad plays he starts acting like he is hurt and comes out of the game. He gets the ball knocked away a lot when he dribbles. He reminds me of Evan turner but with a much better outside shot.

A 19 year-old who reminds you of Evan Turner who's best year was as a junior with a much better outside shot.....that's a compliment. Kid is good.

I'd put him third though. Towns, Okafor, him, the china kid who's name I can never remember.
