Mitchell supposedly in his pre-draft interview with the Jazz, said he was going earlier than their pick, and they should trade up for him as he really wanted to be part of the organization. So the Jazz worked out the trade with Denver, which was at 13.

No one had Mitchell going 1.

If you want to shit on the 76ers for trading up that’s fine. Everyone knew Ball was going to the Lakers. So they could have done nothing and see if Boston (or a trade up team) takes Fultz.
It feels so good to be back.

Yeah, getting somebody good at 13 is good scouting/personnel management. Getting someone potentially THIS good at #13 is that plus twice as much luck.
