Sons of Granville Waiters: The Rockets

I was actually dissing Philly, but the fact that Morey probably wouldn't have this team if he worked in, say,Chicago, is true nonetheless. Also, what is the Heat's endgame? KD 16 after being respectable this year?

It’s fantastic that both teams decrease wins with this trade.

Second time Ive made this request - please change this thread title. Its bottom 10 on here.

Anyway, James Harden. Fuck him. I saw the Rockets last night. All he does is fake contact, and he gets the call every GD time! So frustrating! Late in the game, he's bringing the ball upcourt, and he elbows Rob Covington out of the way. Obviously Covington was called for a foul (absurd), but then the refs went to the monitor to see if it was a common foul or flagrant! Harden's elbow hit him! UGH. Fraud.

Another time earlier, he had a guy set a screen above the 3 point line, the 2 guys got tangled, Harden faked contact, whistle blows, then he jacks a 3 and got credit for a 3 pt attempt for 3 FTs. What the hell, Stern?
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

Even worse because Harden used to be fun to watch before he went for calls all the time and is unquestionably a great player (when he gives a shit). In last year's WCF, the Rockets were basically neutral with GSW when he was on the floor and were like -40 with him on the bench. And that was with GSW actually allowed to play some defense on him.

but yeah, his drawing calls routine makes Kobe's flailing his arms on a barely contested jumper look like great entertainment by comparison. What a disaster.

I see they are retiring Yao's jersey this year. Thats absurd. I know they sold a shit ton of his jerseys. And I know he made the ASG like every year he played bc every chinamen voted for him. But he made no actual impact on the court. And they are doing it against Atlanta, to likely shove it in DH's face.

Dont @ me.

you forgot to bitch about him getting into the hall of fame.

fun fact, he shot 83.3% from the line for his nba career, which is pretty good for someone his size

Apparently James Harden has four games with at least 30 points and 15 assists and that happened only three times last season in the whole league. How bout that.

Nowhere near as impressive as when D'Antoni got Chris Duhon to average 11 points and 7 assists while shooting better than 15% from the field. Science be praised!
