Westphal gassed. Ailene Voisin, a Kings beat writer for the Sacramento Bee thinks Sloan will take the job. I really, really hope so.

the opportunity cost of knowing how to preheat an oven is pretty puny compared to anything else

The Salt Lake media have reported that Sloan wants to coach again, but I have not heard this rumor. They did have a recent conversation that Jimmer is getting frozen out with the Kings on the floor.

"They" are some local yahoos I listen to on the radio in the afternoon here. I am not vouching for its truth, their opinions show even though he is gone Jimmermania still runs wild in SLC.

Cousins and Evans magically remember how to play basketball the day Westphal is fired. What are the odds.

I know they're not the same person, but I get Westphal and Westhead (RUN THE SYSTEM!!!) confused more than I should.

Maybe all the Mormons think Jimmer should still be jacking 30 shots a game... anything less is "frozen out". And here's a shocker: he's a much worse shooter against NBA defenders than he was against the WAC.

Chuck Hayes dislocating his shoulder is gonna hurt them a lot. Look for Cousins to start fouling out before halftime.

Compare and contrast: One statline belongs to physical specimen-Tyreke Evans, and the other belongs to whisp who couldn't out-muscle Juan Dixon-Ricky Rubio.

39 mins, 3-11, 0-2 from 3, 3-4 from the line, 1 orb, 8 rbs, 10 assists, 1 stl, 5 tos, 4 fouls, -13, 9 pts
38 mins, 3-10, 1-3 from 3, 2-2 from the line, 1 orb, 8 rbs, 8 assists, 2 stls, 4 tos, 3 fouls, -3, 9 pts

Hint:
Prime Bbcode Spoiler Show Prime Bbcode Spoiler:
Rubio can hit a three. 44% > 21%.

good talk.

KAHNNNNNNNNNN!

Also, they were in the same draft. Evans went 4, Rubio went 5, probably bc teams didnt think he was gonna come over.

good chat.
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

That's weird that I'd impact your decision-making that much. And shit, I know you don't hate him, I know you were defending him...where you been, man?

Cuz I wouldn't have to do this if this wasn't the one message board in the world that hasn't mentioned, "Um...he's better than we thought."

And besides, I haven't been nearly as bad as I could be. And it's impossible to hate Rubio once you've watched him play.

Agree with the last part: the Wolves are fun to watch, other than the fact that the announcers dick ride him (Rubio) about 1,000 times more than MTM. I mentioned this in the box, but against the Kings they made a nice series of passes that started with Ridenour and ended in a dunk by someone. The announcers decided that this was the "Rubio factor." The fucker wasn't even on the floor.

But it's nice for Fox Sports North to actually be useful.

Edit: probably should have put this in the Wolves thread.
