Kobe #9.
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

Jack McCallum of SI ranks LeBron among similar players all-time
No surprise who he's still got at #1, but I disagree with the logic of excluding certain players because they were predominantly one type of player (C or PG. And don't even get me started on Pete Maravich's glaring omission #i'manidiot

I love the subjective "Wow Factor" rankings...

Wow Factor
Jordan -- 4
LeBron -- 4
Drexler -- 3
Kobe -- 3
Magic -- 3
Pippen -- 2
Robertson -- 2
West -- 2
Pierce -- 1
Bird -- 1
Havlicek -- 1
Kidd -- 0

Magic is a 3 and Bird is a 1, huh? Ok.

Jordan and Bird both a 9 for passing? They were equals in that area? Ok.

Perimeter quarterbacking? Wouldn't it have just been easier to say that Lebron is #2 all-time than to just make shit like this up?

I think Pippen being ahead of Bird in "WOW" factor is the worst.

Maybe he meant wow as in 'wow, I can't believe Pippen wouldn't go back into the game during the 94 playoffs because the play wasn't designed for him'

per assignment, top 30. Copping out by not ranking everybody individually, deal with it.
1) Jordan
2-10 in some order: Kareem, Magic, Bird, Wilt, Russell, Hakeem, Oscar, Duncan, Shaq.
11-19 in some order: Moses, West, LeBron (for now), Elgin, Havlicek, Dr J, Isiah, Malone, Cousy.
20-30 in some order: Kobe, Barkley, Barry, Stockton, McHale, Frazier, KG, Reed, Robinson, Nowitzki, Kidd, .
