That's great. And so happy to see that 2000 class of assholes had been the worst.

But you should totally put all your faith in draft picks and not cash-in on a star player if you have disposable assets, Bill. Coulda had a boat or you coulda had a box which could contain anything - even a boat!

HernangomeZ-sanity is coming. Just you wait!

Giannis is going to be the first player in history to finish in the top 20 in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks in 1 season.

It would not surprise me if Wilt did this back in the day but blocks and steals weren't official stats.

Make him the MVP over Russ. At least he did something that no one has done before.

Agreed!
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

Yeah, no clue.

Related, stats people have had a WHALE of a time trying to project college #'s into the pros, so one of the recent innovations has been to include draft position as a variable, which seems to increase the accuracy of the models significantly. The idea i think is that you need some kind of way of distinguishing tiers of prospects to make the pure #'s more meaningful, which seems to be what they're doing in this graph as well.

Thought this was interesting--could the Western Conference field two separate all star teams to beat the East's best team?

You'd obviously give any East team with LeBron a fighting chance, but I think the West team wins a seven game series in no more than 5 games.

Concur.

2018 win projections based on current rosters. Minutes projections done algorithmically, so lots of errors but
