@BillSimmons
Congrats Houston fans - the first one is the greatest one and it’s not close.

The Red Sox won their first in 1903. Me and Lurch are the only two who remember.

Whoa I'm people too, 5 games to 3 over the Pirates, Cy Young threw the first EVAH World Series pitch

My sincerest apologies. Deacon Phillipe was a horse for the Buccos, but he wasn't enough.

PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

There very well may have been a 102-year-old who had celebrated 5 other times by 2004. You don't know!

I'm sure they had quite the celebration as a 1 year old in 1903.

Of course. Then, they started working their second shift down at the factory.

What would you suggest? Something all lower case and excruciatingly unfunny? Because I know a guy.

I can't believe it's a news story that the Astros accepted the White House bid, and I REALLY can't believe people (looking at you, Max Kellerman) are saying the Stros are on the wrong side of history for doing so...

I'm lying, I absolutely can believe it.

I absolutely did not see that the Astros got Gerrit Cole. He's really, really, REALLY good and I'm very happy to have him out of the NL Central.

The Pirates received very little in return. The Astros are going to be good again if they can avoid the disease of more.
