I have no idea either. I assume they're excusing this under the guise of "We got an established major leaguer in return!" as if Starlin Castro is actually good at baseball.

Supposably this pitcher we got from the Cards is gonna be a player.

So now they've cut Volquez, who is coming off Tommy John, and they're open to trading Yellich which is retarded. He's on such a good contract, but he'll def get the best haul of any of these guys.
