It was a lot easier to get to games when I lived 4 miles from the stadium vs the 20+ miles I live now was allowed to drink beer at them.

Went down early to the tailgate yesterday. Hit major traffic on the highway at 10:30. Finally make it to the scene, and some white trash dude had wiped out on a crotch rocket. Cops had him sitting against the median wall waiting for the ambulance to arrive. I might have had my window down and yelled "nice job, moron!"

One guy's brother in a super annoying douche every year. Guy gets really fucked up and you just want him to die of alcohol poisoning. This year he's going around smacking everyone one the ass as hard as he can, men, women, people he doesn't know. At one point I'm talking with a friend of mine and dude comes up and slaps both of us in the nuts. My buddy shoves this dude down and the drunk guy gets mad and tries to start a fight. Wants to know why my friend is being a dick. He finally stumbles off to annoy other people. I decide that if he touches me again, I'm going to break his nose. Unfortunately, it does not come to that.

Game was really enjoyable. The drunks gave their tickets away to sober-ish people.

Might have got on TV in bottom of 1st crotch chopping during an Aledmys Diaz double to right-center. Though the ball might not have been deep enough.

Seung Hwan Oh came in during the 8th to try and get a 5-out save. I only went to one game last year and did not know that his entrance music is an instrumental version of:

I catz'ed when I heard it.

I made the broadcast in the bottom of the 9th. I choked, did not crotch chop was jumping up and down instead. Clear poncho over a red jacket over a white jersey. Between the National Car Rental and Phillips 66 signs. I'm fifth row, guy behind me has a gold sweatshirt on:

Apparently this was the first time in franchise history that they had a perfect road trip (6 games or more) at 6-0. That sounds odd to me.

Unless the Cards make the playoffs, the Crotch Chop Era ended yesterday. The only other game I have left, I have on StubHub. Will be giving up the season tickets at the end of the season. Probably should have done so a few years ago as I've only made it to 2 or 3 games each year.

After being in the stadium for Games 6 and 7 of the 2011 World Series, it is tough to get excited for regular season ballgames.

Yesterday sucked. I roasted in the bleachers by myself as my seatmates skipped the game. Normally, everyone goes to all of the businessmen specials as it is a chance to get out of the office.

I did get to hear the best entrance music in baseball one last time, for Cardinals' reliever Seung Hwan Oh:
