I looked up zero stats to support this claim, but I believe it with all my heart.

When they were both on the Sox, I thought Manny was better than Papi.

That's because he was.

Also, fackin fack Stevens Zion JEWS fack JETAH.

And both of them are borderline HoF'ers at best like Thome, while Bonds was a Greek God. I can't believe I'm even having to type these words.

Manny was better than thome, and he is most likely a first ballot hall of famer without his steroid issues

you could remove "most likely"

BUT

that's the whole problem, isn't it, you can't know how much of his performance was him, and how much was the juice. IF you care at all about that.

It was all manny and not the juice, because although manny took steroids he didn't work out to reap the benefits

that sounds like an awful lot of certainty for a very uncertain situation, i'm afraid i will gracefully decline your free brochure

I think mj was joshing us.

Wow so the Boston guys love Manny and Papi and hate Thome and Chipper.
The cleveland guy loves Thome
And the southern redneck loves Chipper

Gee I wonder if anyone is objective.

They're all pretty easy HOFers in my eyes. :beatsme:

Let me know if anyone wants to fight over Hoffman.

I hate neither Thome nor Chipper. I simply said Ortiz and Manny are better than Thome.

Who said anything about hating Chipper anyway? I hate his stupid name, but he was a great baseball player.

Dong, I don't know that I want to fight, but you seem really fired up about Hoffman. Feel free to yell your case at the clouds in here, and then I'll decide whether or not I want to fight.

I agree. Though anyone with that steroid taint on them is gonna have a harder time than those that dont

Thome and Halladay had similar Phillies stints, to me. Good not great, not reliable.
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

Some guy named "suzuki" is on line 1 for you

Did he called from first base and identify himself as "Slappy"?
