It's crazy but just looking at the raw numbers, Trout could wind up being the best player that any of us will have ever seen. Also enjoyed the top WAR list through the age of 21:
Player oWAR
Mike Trout 19.2
Mel Ott 16.7
Ty Cobb 15.7
Ken Griffey Jr. 14.4
Alex Rodriguez 14.2
Rogers Hornsby 13.3
Jimmie Foxx 13.1
Ted Williams 13.0
Mickey Mantle 12.9
Vada Pinson 12.4

That is just an absolutely insane list.

Unfortunately no one's gonna care until he plays for the Yankees.

There sure isn't. We're currently looking forward to seeing how many hundreds of millions Jack Zdruabalasb;lasdllkjasdfffick wastes this offseason in a futile attempt to save his job.*

I would think the greatest player I've ever seen could crack 100 RBIs once in their career. I know theyre meaningless, but still.
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

Yeah, because that's pretty easy to do for a leadoff hitter. Since it's happened once in the history of baseball and all.

He's a leadoff hitter? Shit, mb.

I assumed he was 3 hole or something.

He bounces around between leadoff and 2.

Mike Trout is tied with Willie Mays for the most career seasons in MLB history of 25+ homers, 30+ stolen bases, 300+ total bases, & a .320+ average, with two.

Trout is expected to sign a 6 year, $140-150 million contract soon. Makes sense for both teams, and will be one of the least controversial huge money signings ever.

This pisses me off, having to wait six more years to get him to the BRONX, of course.

Boras and Bryce Harper are probably sitting on each other's dicks right now with that very idea in mind.
