This is one of the coolest compilations I've ever seen:

Somebody on Metafilter was asking about where they could watch game seven of the ALCS in London. Took everything I had not to respond "I don't think that's something you have to worry about." Neither of these series is going past 5, and I'd put money down (me? gamble? yup) on the Mess sweeping the Cubes.

You know, if this whole "utility infielder" thing doesn't work out for Cliff Pennington, then he could be a solid middle reliever.

On a side note, how shitty does your bullpen have to be that Cliff Pennington is the most effective pitcher you have on a given night?

I gotta be honest...I had no idea LaTroy Hawkins was still active. I thought he retired 5 years ago. Is Tom 'Flash' Gordon still around too?

Flash is not around, but his son just led the NL in batting.

Marc Topkin @TBTimes_Rays
#BlueJays Gibbons, asked about safety aspect of new slide rule after loss to #Rays, said, "I guess we'll come out wearing dresses tomorrow."

Oh my god. It's 2016. Gibby can't think he'll get away with this knuckle-dragging hate-think. 79 - round up the troops and take this caveman out.
