Dale Murphy socked two dingers in my first-ever MLB game. Launch Pad, indeed.

My first game was Sox vs. Sox at Fenway, circa 1989. The most memorable part was that our seats were right behind the visitors dugout, and before the game, my cousin and I were in line to get an autograph from some White Sox player we'd never heard of. We were next in line when he said something like, "I go now. Game start." His English has not improved, but he did become much more famous than he was on that day as a no-name 20-year-old.

My first game was in 1969 or 1970 (yeah, yeah, yeah... older than dirt, babysat Moses, etc). It was Red Sox/Tigers at Fenway and the place was half empty. My dad took me down next to the Sox dugout before the game and my (soon to be) idol* autographed this pic of him with my father:

Ballz: So, I fucking got a BJ for $250 total, and wore a rubber. It sucked, I couldnt even feel it, so i jeckyled onto her tits. She was cute. Not even that far out of my league, it was a waste of $250

I've heard it before, but I like that story, Prez. I can definitely understand why you'd be hooked after that.

My dad also has an autographed pic with Yaz. It's from a charity golf tournament about 30 years after your dad got his, and doesn't have nearly as cool of a story.

My first game ever was at the old Fulton County Stadium. Cardinals won 5-2 in extra innings. I was 6.

My first ever MLB game was earlier this year at FlushCon16. The highlight was the gay sex the Sox winning OF COURSE.

i don't see how you guys compare going to a AA or A game vs going to a major league game. both are fun but completely different animals. when we're in vermont next week we're probably going to a short-season A game, should be a good time.

If i recall, my first game was Royals @ Indians. We used to go visit my dad's friend in paris and we went to a game. For some reason I feel like i remember the score was like 4-2 KC. The only other memory I have of the game is some guy on KC hitting a ball I swear bounced off the plate after he hit it and went like out to the outfield grass, where the 2nd baseman caught it for an out. Guess it was a popup. :beatsme: Cool story.

My first game was in 1975 at old Municipal Stadium in Cleveland with the three-time defending champion Oakland A's in town to take on our beloved Tribe.

I have no idea who won, but I do remember that a high throw to first base pulled Boog Powell (6-4, 230) off the bag as he had to jump for the ball. He landed on top of the runner, Bert Campaneris (5-10, 160), resulting in the A's shortstop being taken off the field on a stretcher.

I can't believe I did this, oh, of course I can, but this looks to be the game in question. Does say the play was "unassisted," but that could easily be a mistake or a high chopper near the bag thay forced ol' Boog to jump. But it's the only game I can find from 1975 where Oakland was in town and Campy left early (and he left after the play in the 5th)
