I object to the TLDR version. We still don't really know what happened. TY.

OJ#s - I'm going to have a lot of free time this summer and am thinking of getting a 20 game ticket pack for ARE Mets. In looking at options, the biggest downside I see is that they divide tix by Saturday, Sunday, and Weeknights. Ideally I'd like a mix of them, but I'm sure I can settle for one.

What should I be looking out for in buying a ticket pack? On the one hand, I like the idea because it means I'll get out to a bunch of games. On the other hand, something tells me that doing the work and buying seats to individual games is the smarter move.

unless you like the idea of being locked into specific dates, there is almost literally no reason to buy a ticket pack

I agree with bosux, unless you want Opening Day and a Subway Series game, you can mix and match for cheaper and go when you want. The weekend plans always throw in a handful of weeknight games. I'm surprised they haven't released any plans smaller than 20 games yet. That's a big commitment and playoffs is the only time I made my money back in the resale market. I only kept going through 2013 with my plan for the All Star Game access.

Taking a look at midweek games in April against the Phillies, I could get one for $13 for way out in left field and then because it's a weeknight, I'd be able to move to a section in the uppers right behind the plate. I got to 7 games last year for just under $200 (2 of those were for seats better than the upper deck)

Thanks. So it really sounds like I should just buy a bunch of tickets at a time so I force myself to go to as many games as I want.

This happened yesterday:

Cespedes also hit it a million miles over the CF batters eye, but I can't find a gif for that.

my plan this year is to pick a date, go to the stadium, and buy on stubhub as close as possible to to game time to take advantage of desperate sellers that use dynamic pricing
