I agree. I saw him make 3 or 4 plays over the two games I paid attention to.

But you did see Barkley, no?
PS: I will never like July 27th. It will always be the day Reggie died. I just hate this day. True Celtic fans know what I mean.

I did, I saw him gain 200+ yards against Iowa and single handedly give them a win.

I also saw him get less than 100 yards in like 5 B1G games this year.

Agreed, he's the new Patrick Willis, to me. Hopefully he doesn't retire so young.

Related: Part of the reason I paid attention to Smith during the year is that I heard a lot of Iowa fans bitching about him being the Butkus favorite over the Outlaw Josey Jewell. Jewell is really, really good and I think could play in the NFL for 10 years. He's not in Smith's neighborhood as far as talent.

Josey is going to make a lot of tackles by being the right guy in the right place because he reads and reacts well. Roquan seems to have better instincts. He blows plays up by hitting gaps so much quicker, just seems to have a better idea, by formation, what is coming.

Be happy drafting either.

Between this and Polian's struggles, it's getting tough to be a draft guy who just pulls shit out of their ass these days:

Mel Kiper Jr. asked about Josh Allen's completion percentage: "Stats are for losers in my opinion. The guy won."

Mel Kiper Jr. is having another conference call. On why Lamar Jackson isn't a first-rounder: "It’s the accuracy throwing the football. Finished career around 57 percent."

Oh it won't at all. Moreso being exposed for bad takes. But they have the biggest platform so it won't matter.

Herbie will be on the opening night of ESPN's draft coverage replacing Gruden.

Herbstreit will join host Trey Wingo, draft analyst Mel Kiper and NFL analyst Louis Riddick.

Only 4 of them there? Surely they can make room for a few more guys to add absolutely nothing, miss on pick predictions and repeat the same shit over and over again.

These are just the guys on the stage.

There will still be room for schefty like last year when he made a breathless report that after the bears moved up to #2 that the bears did it to take some de they liked, as seconds later the bears take trubisky.

Probably a good idea to have someone who watched college football on the panel. It's way worse in the NBA, when Fran Fraschilla is giving 5000 word scouting reports on obscure euros and then they send it over to Jalen who has no idea who the guy that started for Kentucky is.
